Silver Swords Session 3: Sexual Tension and Sewers?

General Summary

A Cast of Characters

• Fiarli, a Changeling (who doesn't know it) Omdura recently left from a temple dedicated to Lelia.
• Alva Raynov, Gwelin Arcanist who is certainly not still involved in Ter Eira politics in any way
• Alexander O'Sullivan, human Inquisitor of Nex Szar, friendly neighborhood death priest.
• Agnus Ellsworth, a little old human Oracle who has Seen Some Shit

Growing Pains

• After returning, bathing, and trying to forget maggot vomit and death, we rest up
• In the morning, Alexander accosts Alva and confronts them about the whole 'life force draining' thing. An agreement is sort of, kind of, reached. The tension is real. The sexual tension is real. 
• Over breakfast, the other mercs are discussing the plans. Party meets their rivals for today, consisting of Bull Man, Ruby (and Longclaw), Aldren, and Mindira. They sort of charm Bull Man a little bit. After finishing breakfast, they head on out sans Agnus, who is off being mysterious.
• Second talk with Alva, this time from Fee, and a prayer to Lelia, and it's time to rock and roll.

Operation Public Spectacle

• After consuming Stage Fighting potions.
• Alexander and company put on a hell of a performance.
• This triggers a hell of a fake combat that seems real as hell to the wealthy observers. After a whole lot of up and down, the party emerged victorious.
• Back to the tavern to report in and prepare for a sewer dive.

Operation Bathhouse

• Down, down into the sewers!
• Sneak past goblins
• Kill a ghoul
• Battle a horde of sewer raccoons
• Release the half-troll in a box
• Get caught by Goblins
• Allowed to pass, graciously unmugged
• Rest of the day spent in baths and laundry and massage chairs. It was a good day.

• Lady Jael, the sponsor of this whole enterprise. An Elf noblewoman who serves a ceremonial role in Imperial court, representing the extinct Oenkanen elves among the Senate of the Conquered. 
• Jeeves, the good lady's majordomo and enforcer. An enormous Olona Orc that has heavily scarred hands underneath his polished appearance. 
• Jeb, Hix, Lun, and Kark, some green scaled Kobolds who evidently owe Jael some sort of life debt and take care of the most unpleasant tasks she can come up with. 

The Silver Swords

• Bull Man, a tiefling barbarian who very very heavily resembles a minotaur
• Ruby Ormr, a half-elf Druid who is very best friends with Longclaw, a baby lava drake
• Mindira Tallwind, half-Halfling and half-Gnome and all lucky. A Gunslinger. 
• Aldreniel Tantos, Langite Elf that you can really just call Aldren. He's a cleric of Eldreon and Lyrica.
