Orcs
Orcs are tall humanoids identifiable by the tusks that grow from their lower jaw and their thick black hair. Orc ethnicities are sometimes referred to by non-orcs by the color of their skin, which is always vivid. Examples include the Orcanos (White Orcs) or the Olona (Green Orcs). Orcs have a reputation as fierce warriors and are highly valued in The Empire because of this. The most common type of hybrid in Illiria is the Half-Orc.

Naming Traditions
Rather than family names, Orcs identify themselves with their clan of birth or marriage. These clan names can be easily translated into the Common Tongue of Civilized Folk and always have two parts, though the conventions of the names vary between each type of Orc. For instance, the Orcanos always use animals as part of their clan names while the Olona always use colors.
Major Organizations
The Boneyard in The Arid and The Greenlands of Old Ichtaca are ruled over by Orcs, Grey and Green respectively.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
All Orcs speak Urzghul, or Orcish, though most live among other races and speak primarily in the Common Tongue of Civilized Folk. All groups of Orcs adopt the languages of their traditional enemies as well.
History
Orcs were a part of the Illirian continent as long as all of recorded history. Even as far as the Age of Dwarves, Orcs were described as having settled the parts of the continent that they still rule to this day. Unlike most of the other races, Orcs have never united under a common banner until modern times, as all significant groups of Orcs are a part of the Third Empire of Evermore. The only Orcs to come to Illiria from another continent are the red-skinned Onirgrundi, who first came across the sea with Skaldor during the Time of Elves.
