Shimmering Rock

Shimmering Rock is a very large hexagonal island off the northwest coast of Amazwe. The island is geologically and environmentally unique, in that it appears to naturally be a perfect hexagon with thirty-five mile sides, all exactly the same size, and the comparatively small island is home to multiple biomes and geographic areas that mimic the rest of the continent, including a small tundra directly next to a volcanic badlands. Besides the island's significance in those respects, it is also the home of The University and the Zendali people. Shimmering Rock is one of the largest unaffiliated settled territories of all Illiria, second only to Nurgoth Nor of the Singing Islands.
