Farangenor is the Lord High Magister of the Empire, the wizard assigned by the Order of the Eye to serve as advisor and servant of the Imperial Throne. He has served in this position since before the founding of the modern Guild, having been assigned to the Court of the Lang before the Sylvan War. Still, despite his personal feelings towards the Empire he has served admirably for almost 2,000 years. He is now well-known as the most powerful universalist mage in existence and possibly several other existences besides. He regularly attends meetings of the Order of the Eye, but has passed on his title as Archmage Universalis to better serve his current position.
