Elemental Battery

An Elemental Battery is a modified Mana Battery that siphons power and effects from a specific elemental rather than generic spell power. This results in more powerful, yet less diverse, effects.
Elemental Batteries are typically associated with vehicles more than anything else and are limited to a short range from the linked elemental itself, meaning that Elemental Battery often refers to the device itself plus whatever is imprisoning the elemental. The batteries are also limited in what they can do based on what sort of elemental is being siphoned from.

Air batteries are used in manipulating sail-powered vehicles.

Earth batteries are used to manipulate certain speeders and walkers.

Fire batteries are required for the flight of balloons and most airships.

Water batteries are used for aquatic microimpact vehicles and occasionally in conjunction with fire batteries to power a steam engine.
