Tidal Engines

Tidal Engines are massive orbs filled with water and turbines. When activated by magic, the water inside of the engine rotates rapidly, creating a spray of mist and spinning the turbines, which in turn generate power. Tidal Engines must be refilled after several days of use, and are primarily used to power Dreadnought airships. It is an evolution of Elemental Battery technology, originally built as an Air/Water hybrid battery. The reason Tidal Engines are not more widely used is that they are large, cumbersome, and expensive, making them less than ideal for ground vehicles and war engines.
