Acundi

The Acundi, known as Saltborne Elves, lived on The Singing Islands and what is now Ter Eira before the time of the First Empire. They were quite tall for Elves at around seven feet on average. Acundi were a light grey in color and were known for the spiraling white patterns that occurred on their limbs and faces. Their hair and eyes always matched color and came in white, silver, black, or beige. The Acundi were driven into the northernmost reaches of Ter Eira during the Sylvan War and their already-dwindling numbers were wiped out by The Itching Plague. The other Northern peoples, such as the Caronorn Halflings and Orcanos Orcs, rarely talk about the Acundi with Southerners, but they do claim that the Acundi had the same religious practices as the other Northern folk, notably the Dance of the Wind Spirits as a primary religion. The Orcanos claim that the Acundi were also seafaring folk and were the rivals of the Orcanos, and the Yaunuk Humans claim that the Acundi were responsible for the Railek tongue, which is shared by all Northern peoples.
