Dvardite Material in Evenea | World Anvil

Dvardite (Duh var dite)

An alloy of Mythral and Solthral, Dvardite is a metal only used by the Dvardai, a race of Earth or Hill elves native to northern Eveynjar. Durable and elastic, Dvardite is highly sought after and exceeedingly rare, as the Dvar that make it are increasingly harder to find.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Dvardite appears extremely metallic coppery color, though only a minute amount of copper is used in the alloy itself. It is often reflective and the color is reminiscent of a setting sun. Any artifact made with Dvardite is often still shiny even after centuries in the dirt.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Dvardite does not oxidize, but it is easily dissolved in acid. Dvardai is elastic and when bent easily returns to its proper frame. This makes it not only good for weapons and armor, but everyday utensils and items, from roofing to woks.
