Prelude
Across the border from the verianberg empire the the Sultans order of magic was the most powerful magical organisation in the world. in verainberg the only magical power were the seers who could see possible features. the Emperor of verianberg at the time Wilhelm 3rd wanted his own magical order. so he turned to his adopted brother Vlad von drak a vampire. the two had grown up together and were the closes of friends but at the age of 30 Wilhelm ascended the throne from his father. this drove the two apart and left vlad bitter. he left for his Provence of walchaindorf to studies his magical arts. however with his time in court he had attracted the vampires in the hallsberg court. they were pulled towards his cunning and witty personally along with his cold judgmental personalty. women were drawn to his looks and his personalty. vampires were born with the ability to control the powers of death and death magic. At the orders of his emperor he formed the imperial magic organisation. it drew it ranks from both men and 'old' races main being other vampires. over the next few years the magic order gained power and was able to raise small armys. vlad grew sour with time because of his brother refused to see him instead wishing to spend more time in his own court in walchendorf. he saw however that he could take power. in his mind he had as much a claim to the throne as his brother. using his political power he raised an army in walchindorf and secured the loyalty of the lords of the regency of magara as under Wilhelm father they had suffered massive taxes and political interference . he also ventured to The shadow realm and sought an audience with Arcarox high regent of the ghouls he told him if he helped his he would revoke his penanace. the high regent agreed and marched his army in support of vlad. he only had to do one more thing. using his powers he turned the nation of verianberg warm summer into a dark winter. sensing something was wrong Wilhelm ordered troops to walchiendorf to investigate
