one of the old races vampires had to live under ground like all the other old races. however Otto tragfell helped them come back into the normal world. most vampire resettled in walchendorf the former kingdom of drakenfell or the kingdom of shade and shadow. vampire rose to power and many of those entered the hallsberg court. the von draks became the closest family of vampires many young von drak become wards of the hallsbergs. many vampires became ministers in the government and generals in the imperial army. vampires often became members of the ruling council of the empire. after The Bloodline war the vampires of the empire lost part of there land out with walchindorf. many vampire as well married into the ruling families of the empire including into the imperial family itself.
