Somme of The Naturist

As part of its efforts to unite humanity and promote a strong ethical backbone towards responsibility, the Hypnagogic Order of Sol distributes the the Sommes throughout Ethnis. These Sommes cause the bearer to dream of the parables encoded into them, populating their dreams with places and people they know.

The Somme of the Naturist contains a variety of dreams related to caring for nature. Some of these are merely visions of what a sustainable society can look like — such as walking through the cities that the dreamer is familiar with but seeing nature and bounty exploding from every patch of earth and every blank wall. Some of these are warnings, nightmares about what can go wrong if the balance of nature is not respected.

Dreams

Though there is nothing but nature in every direction you look, the arrangement of it feels far too canny to be the work of wild chance. This is a food forest, with fruiting trees patterned along the landscape as islands of shade for the more sun-shy vegetables. Deer trailed fearlessly across the landscape, backs spackled by sunlight and hooves soundless among the clover.

In the distance you can see your friend turning the dirt and havesting potatoes as big as your head from the soft earth.
