Building on top of the ruins of a Somnolent methane refinery? Make sure to take advantage of the craters. That's smart space usage right there.A diverse mixture of gleaming, dull and rusted towers jut from the chugging methane refineries. A mixture of oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon monoxide wafts into the atmosphere. Rough-hewn tunnels connect the refineries to the central dome of the settlement.
I love the smell of carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the morning. Smells like progress. And death. But only a little bit.
Government
New Queensland has a nine member city council, but relies primarily on the governance of the Administrator's office in the Westminister Dome.
Defences
Thick Metal Jacketing on the dome, refineries, and transport tunnels, with several patrols of armed guards for general maintenance and defence purposes.
Industry & Trade
New Queensland, and Ayun-Ausralia by extension serve as one of The Federation of Free Planets main distributors of refined and processed methane for use as afterburner fuel, cooking fuel, and catalysts for hydrogen gas production.
History
Built on the ruins of the Somnolent refinery, New Queensland was created to bring some usage to the vast resevoir of methane surronding the continents of Ayun-Ausralia. When Bryce Westminister re-settled the planet, it was the first dome constructed to bring profitability to the planet.
Architecture
Like the other domes of the planet, thick metal jacketing surrounds a modified environmental dome. Within the dome, and along the inner walls are a large amount of habitations, small markets and a medium central governance building.
On the shores and mainland of the New Queensland area, large gleaming refineries connect to the dome with corridors of beaten and shaped metal. Towards the ocean, a series of semi-ruined methane pumps collect liquid methane for usage back in the dome and refineries.

Geography
New Queensland sits on one of the craggier continents of Ayun-Ausralia, with a gentle slope leading to the oceans. Evidence of a number of battles mar the shoreline, as do several ruined methane pumps. Craters from the pre-re-settlement explosions line the base of the settlement, and create room for expansion and transportation.
