Arch Daemons

Upon the Gods Fall, many Angels fell out of heaven to become The Downcast. Those who did not fall fought to remake the structures that brought divine magic to Etharis. While many chose to be beacons of Light and Goodness, some saw the actions of mortals creating power for less savory ideals. Some angels set out to collect the divine worship that this created. Others were a pale imitation of the Gods who came before and could not keep strong ties to other newly-responsible angels. Collectively, these beings were given the scornful name Arch Daemons. Thus a bitter rivalry, almost all out war, began.
