Sitri
Epitaphs: The Tempter, Whisperer, Bloodrose
Where the rich and poor lose themselves to excess, lust, and debauchery, there walks Sitri. The Arch Daemon whispers into the hearts of men and women, urging them to give in to their basest instincts. He has never known more followers than in Altenheim, the City of Joy, where drugfueled parties last for days on end. It is said that Sitri has never forced a single soul to do evil but only presented them the choice. Few possess the strength to walk away from him, and not a few of those who succeed once still eventually succumb.Sitri appears as tendrils of black mist that resemble a human, but can shift to take on the form of the viewer’s greatest desire, say a handsome young lad or an alluring temptress.
P. 193 Grim Hollow Campaign GuideThe Arch Daemon of Hedonism, who is also called Bloodrose and the Tempter, lures mortals to give in to gluttony, lust, and the basest worldly desires. Those who follow Sitri eventually lose themselves to their addictions. Sitri’s most prized possessions are the souls of Aphaelon’s followers who backslide into their desires. Sitri enjoys taunting the Arch Seraph with these mortals the most.
P. 35 Grim Hollow Players GuideBefore the Gods End, this Angel served not in Etharis but in the afterlives of good and deserving people. They brought joy and cosmic reward wherever they went. Sitri still remembers the stories of ancient heroes who were rewarded by their host. Said host was full of beings who fell to Etharis during the Gods End and subsequently burrowed below the continent to form a new heaven. Sitri dreams of remaking afterlives for the mortal souls, and takes as many as they can to grow their dominion.
