Blacksins
Krogaatha is the young leader of the Blacksins. They are a relatively new mercenary company that has sprung up from the stragglers of the recent border disputes in the Sagris Fields. The company is almost exclusive non-humans, as those are the primary inhabitants of this area. Krogaatha fought in the battle of Kadar, leading a unit of savage infantry. She used to be well-regarded in Brildeth's court. But after the victory in Kadar she left the empire's army. No one knows exactly why she left, but she has sworn never to go back. Since Krogaatha was such a respected warrior, there were more than a few soldiers who defected with her. Many believed that they would be hunted down for treason, but the Blacksins operate in Brildeth's domain without any issue. They stay in the lower areas, the small towns, the farmlands, and so on. It is unlikely for any of them to be seen in Vor Taruhm. Since their inception some three years ago, the Blacksins have grown quite a bit. Krogaatha now leads several units in the company that each takes on different types of jobs throughout the Sagris Fields.
Structure
The Blacksins follow a rather standard military formation. This should be no surprise as it is comprised almost entirely of ex-soldiers. Krogaatha is by no means a ruthless leader, but she knows how to keep her soldiers in line. She relies a lot on her lieutenant to keep the troops going and learn what they're looking for and need. Krogaatha has made it her personal mission to never repeat the mistakes she saw in the empire's armies. According to her soldiers, she is succeeding. The Blacksins are new to the scene but they've gained a fame of being the best mercenary company to work for in these parts. It is no doubt that Krogaatha's leadership plays a big part in that.
