River Huntry
A river branches out of Vortex Lake and forms a natural b arrier between the regions of Dwarfhome, Suthoran, and The Eastern Plains. This river is violent at the mouth, causing shipping to be tough going down the river from the lake. Past the mouth of the river, it becomes calm for the most part.
A long bridge, Dorrirey;s Bridge, crosses the river and connects Suthoran and the Eastern Plains. In the Year 436, the bridge was destroyed by the forces of Castle Sirather in order to protect themselves from the invaders of Crook Crag
Ecosystem
This water breeds a variety fish, amphibians, and other creatures. At the lower sections of the river there are mineral deposits that get brought down making it a suitable environment to grow Red Lotus. Red Tide is a small hamlet that cultivates this red lotus for the medicianal properties it has.
Climate
While the river does change temperature based on the seasons, it has never fully frozen over. During the winter, the rough flowing water from the lake causes it be not to freeze over.
History
The river was first discovered by adventurers in the year 35.
Settlers from Crook Crag began building the bridge with the help of the wizard Dorrirey in the year 234 in order to find a way to cross the river safely.
