Vortex Lake
The Great Lake that sits in the middle of the continent. It is known for the many storms and whirlpools that form within its waters. This is due to a large portal that sits at the bottom of the lake, leading to the Spirit Realm, the Layer of Perpetual Storms.
Geography
Large Lake sitting in the middle of the region. Storms seem to appear randomly without any rhyme or reason creating a tumultuous sea. Sailors swear that after a storm the sky is the most gorgeous sight someone can witness in the world.
Natural Resources
The lake is a treasure trove of natural resources; mostly fish, shellfish, but also for the beds of salt that sit on the coastlines. The Merfolk of Exile Seamount will occasionally trade with the land dwellers for exotic gems and such that they find underwater.
