Tessandra Kerikash

(a.k.a. "Temporal Alchemist")

Tessandra is an individual that had never been investigated by R.I.S.E. involving their acquired powers from the Ley. Fate would have it that the young woman had an unfortunate encounter with Idiune shortly after she began to really understand how her newly acquired powers functioned, and was boasting about them in a tavern somewhere in Ishtos. The conversation led Idiune to approaching the woman and requesting a demonstration of her abilities, presumably out of curiosity, and when Tessandra did just that, found herself being contained in one of Idiune's pocket dimensions as a form of isolation chamber or prison. Idiune claimed that Tessandra's abilities had far too great of a potential of misuse, abuse and risk to the world, and had sealed the woman away knowingly after making this decision on her own. How this comes into play in the future remains to be seen, but likely Tessandra, should she ever escape Idiune's enforced incarceration, will likely be none too happy about the ordeal.

Powers

Tessandra's power set is still mostly hypothetical and not truly understood, seeing as their description was only explained by Idiune after the Nal'tua woman forced Tessandra into seclusion in one of her alternate worlds. However, the description from Idiune casts a relatively complicated picture involving the use of time and perception. According to Tessandra's boasting, all objects in the universe have unique 'markers' that identify them, which persist throughout the flow of time and disappear when the object becomes too different from what it once was. This supposedly is true for natural objects such as mundane things like boulders and more complicated things such as geographical locations, man-made objects such as forged weapons or constructed buildings, and even living beings that are identified by the auras of their spiritual energy. On the other hand, the world's perception of each object can change over time as well, swaying between the incredibly familiar to the utterly forgotten and ultimately... lost. It is these objects in the latter category with which Tessandra can twiddle with. Be they from the past or future, as long as the object is "lost", then she can influence it through her powers and send it through the eons to her exact point in time and location. Tools or weapons that were lost in battle and left behind, or currency that was misplaced and never found again, and even people who were lost at sea and never found... all of these or similar conditions, could be targets for Tessandra's abilities.

The downside, and ultimately what Idiune feared, was how this power ultimately manifested, as it required Tessandra to yank one object from the past and one from the future of seemingly similar composition... as for example she wasn't capable of taking a physical object from the past and a person from the future for this process, but two physical objects, or two people were free targets. Bringing these targeted things to her location in time would merge the two into a single entity, often comprised of the best parts, functionality, or traits of the affected targets and creating something new, interesting and unique in the process. Whether or not Tessandra could also split the fused objects or people together and return them to their proper time and place in the timeline is unknown, as the simple theory of Tessandra being capable of the fusing of two incredibly dangerous people and making a new, supervillain of unprecedented threat was too great of a risk for Idiune to ignore, and thus resulted in Tessandra's imprisonment before such an opportunity presented itself.
