Bosskob (a.k.a. "Crux" or "The King Humbler")

As the only known Kobold that has been enhanced by contact with the Ley, Shrend is considered a highly dangerous target for numerous bounty agencies, despite the insistence from R.I.S.E. that claims he is not a threat unless provoked. Just his simple existence drives plenty of individuals to attempt at hunting him down for making an example. The hero guild, is however, correct in this stance, as Shrend, while disapproving of the civilized races, wishes for them to leave him and his warrens alone. A wish that likely shall never come to pass thanks to the exceptional prejudice shown his kind from most other races, even the Nal'tua who are generally more accepting than any others. He currently reigns as a warlord, known as a "Bosskob", within the massive Hate Warrens, which is the single largest community of Kobolds on all of Erlyse, making reaching him in the first place a major hurdle for any would be assassins trying to claim right to empowered abilities for their species alone.

Powers

Shrend has the ability to manipulate biological functions of living beings he is able to see, hear or smell. He can cause an immediate festering or infection of an open wound, force individuals to experience paralyzing muscle cramps, escalate any form of existing malady to extreme levels (such as inflaming arthritis to a point it becomes immediately damaging to the sufferer, or cause a malignant tumor to go crazy, or intensify someone's high blood pressure to a point it causes an aneurysm or heart attack), and can create incredibly potent diseases that he can control at will from any prepared ingredients. Along with this ability comes an innate knowledge of biology, virology and evolution, giving him insight into some fields of knowledge the rest of the world has no understanding of. This allows him to serve his own people as an incredibly resourceful doctor, as unfortunately his abilities only pertain to infliction rather than curative capabilities.
