Merina Halshild

War Lady Merina Kimolte Halshild (a.k.a. "Merry")

Merina Halshild is one of the unpowered enforcers of R.I.S.E., serving as a form of security for important delegates who represent the guild when in transit across Erlyse or during investigations into incidents involving Ley empowered individuals (Not currently active battle sites with empowered, however). She is the wielder of the great sword, Soulcleaver, a weapon forged by Thallira Nestrone which has the capability of slicing through anything, including ethereal objects such as Phantoms... or the very soul of an unfortunate target. As such, Merina is one of the renowned "Exorcism Squad", which employs agents and heroes of the guild that are specifically deployed to handle incidents with Phantoms or the new threat of the Rippleghasts across the world. While she is not empowered by the Ley, "Merry" is still an incredibly talented warrior, and considered by many across the globe to be one of the greatest sword wielders of the world even without being equipped with her incredibly overpowered weapon.
