Hawkspeak Castle dominates the hilltop in the center of Shaleport. From there, the Castle has a full view of the harbor, city, and surrounding environs for miles. It is every bit as heavily fortified as one would expect the ancestral home of the richest family on the continent and the seat of power for the Duchy of Bannesfield to be.
The Glittering Storm is famous for many, many victories over the centuries and is one of the oldest and most prestigious permanent military units in service in the Empire. The Storm even predates the Empire itself having been organized more than five hundred years ago and put under the service of the kings of Lete.
