Reddian

Reddians are the most common ethnic group on Byanos. Most Lower Letians and Demenians are Reddians. Reddians tend to be slightly above average in height and favor dark hair and dark eyes, but that is only a slight average, like most humans their appearances vary wildly and light hair and light eyes are quite common as well. Red hair is generally considered a mark of magical ability, especially in some sorcerer families like the Redmanes who boast potent sorcerers Evony Redmane, and her father, Tharan Redmane.

Naming Traditions

Feminine names

Katelyn, Evony, Evora, Felicity... Feminine first names, like male names, are other handed down through families or variants of other familial names.

Masculine names

Vulcan, Tharan, Thorin, Brian, Ankarr.... Male names, like their feminine counterparts, are often handed down directly through families or variants are used.

Family names

Redmane, Blackheart, Redheart, Greenmount, Ulmstead, Kerendas... Many Reddian names evolved from nicknames, professions, or locations that came be associated with certain people, though some have long forgotten, probably Dwarven, roots.
