Rosililly
Of all the Star Fae Rosililly was the most singular. She felt the most outrage and violation at what had been done to them, and it cause her to hate her own skin as a mark of that violation. These feelings caused her to stray from her sisters and roam the area surrounding their forest home.
Then one day Prince Cadence Dragon Brother showed up in her forest, and she thought to herself- why not be whatever that is instead. Really, she had seen other living things, but this was the first shape that came anywhere near to resembling her own, although much larger, and she was intrigued by it. Flying right up to him, he held out his hand in amazement, which made things easier on her with the physical contact. Even still, the transformation from Fae to human drained ALL of her Gift and knocked them both out. When they came too, Rosililly couldn't speak to the man, as she had only ever spoken telepathically, and her magic was now drained. She did get the form of a female human though, and it was very naked, which Cay found super embarrassing. The only thing that really set her apart was that hair and eyes had retained the pink hue of her original form- although her eyes turned gray almost immediately due to the Star Magic.
Cay helped her figure out how to be human and she helped him and Rhyth solve their mystery. Ros & Cay fell in love during that time. It wasn't until she tried to go north with the boys that she realized she was still held to her sisters and couldn't go much further than the other side of the Lake Seula. Cay decided to stay with her, and Rhyth did too in order to protect their relationship.
Ros and Cay had five children together; four of them were boys: Cadence AKA Denny, Oscar, Aden, and Rosca. Their daughter, Rozalea, was the youngest, and while she seemed like a regular human, she and her entire female line, bore the cost of Rosililly’s choice in the form of their very different reproductive system.
Rosililly lived an unnaturally long life, possibly another side effect of the transformation magic. Her final act was to name her granddaughter, Leadora, the first queen of Pelee.
