Founded by Cadence and his sons to house their growing family. It started small, but once Rozalea was on child 10 with no end in sight, he began planning a more massive scale.

Cadence set up a school for his family that over the years grew into a renown center for learning. The University is located near the palace with only the library in between. On the other side of the palace from the university are the Ladies' Estates.
There is a large garden in the center of the palace with a tree house, called “Grandpa’s Gift,” that is actually a living tree coaxed to grow in the shape of a house by Cadence’s plant affinity Elemental magic for his children; it is ringed by a low hill that is the final resting place of the dragon Rhythmus, eternally protecting the children.
Behind the palace is a field of sweet grass with a small, clear pond and apple tree in the center, that had been tended by three nymphs, set aside for the “majestic” creatures known as the baku who are well loved here. Once they became endangered (napped by the Dark Cult), a special sweet grass garden was created for the baku, and the three nymphs, within the palace walls. The Naiad returned to the pond and was napped by the Cult, but after The Release all of the nymphs and the baku were able to return to their field. Sweet grass is also very important to the residents of Roseholm for medicinal, practical, and artistic purposes (anticoagulant, incense, perfume, hair and body wash (great for lustrous shine), basket and mat weaving, etc.) and is a primary source of their trade goods.
