Venomscale Lair
Venomscale Lair is an abandoned dungeon located in The Marrow underneath The Iron Tower. Once used as a dungeon, the floor was abandoned after some periodic flooding made it too costly to maintain. Now, it's inhabited by dragonlings who use the sunken structure as a lair.
The dungeon consists of three floors. The first floor contains a large room with several tunnels that lead to the second and third floors, in addition to a few office rooms . On the second floor, water fills the space save for a few pockets of stale air. There are many large rooms full of broken tools there as well. The third floor is empty except for a single large, roughly-carved, chamber with a stone staircase that leads down into a deep pool of water.
The Venomscale dragonlings took up residence in the abandoned dungeon two years ago. They have since built their own lairs within the dungeon walls, using the rubble from the collapsed ceiling above them to build platforms and chambers. They brought in various objects they found on the surface to decorate their new home.
Most of the dragonlings' time is spent at the bottom of the dungeon, where they spend most of their days swimming in the water or offering gifts to the voices they hear in the pool at night. Only a quarter of the gang can be found here at most times. The rest of the gang is out on the town, causing mayhem and finding treasure for their hoard.
