Roughberry is a species of perennial flowering plant native to Casane. The name of the plant also applies to their fruits.
Many creatures eat roughberry, including Starborn and Harpies. Roughberries are used in the manufacture of tea, jams, jellies, pies, cakes, and other sweet treats. They're also eaten fresh. Some people even use roughberry to make their own wine.

The Roughberry is a deciduous shrub with arciform stems. The flowering stems are perennial. The bark is flaky. The leaves are simple with three rounded lobes. The fragrant flowers are 4.5/V netzon in diameter with 5 white petals 2 netzon across. The fruit is purple and 1.1/X netzon in diameter. The berries are dry and the flavor is said to be delicious.
When growing conditions are favorable, roughberry can grow as tall as 2.5/v zonnet.
Ecology and Habitats
Roughberry inhabits the scrub and hills of Casane. It requires well-drained soil and full sun. It grows best in disturbed areas such as areas that have been cleared by logging or fire. In places where it has become established, it can outcompete other plants for sunlight and water. Roughberry prefers rocky terrain, though it will also thrive on sandy loam.
