The Thunder Blade Sect was established by a storm giant who stole power from storms eventually angering Saroth The Tempest God enough that storms threatened to wash away the coast. A faction within the sect invited the help of the Blood Refinement Sect to try and turn him into a Living Blood Puppet. The ritual failed to fully steal away his will but allowed him to be sealed under the Glass Mountain.
