Culture

Once a year the sect gathers those wishing to join and tests their aptitude. Those wishing to join outside this period may take a second path. The first step involves traveling through a haunted wood that takes 2 minutes to cross and ranks them based on how far they stand from the ghost catching lantern along the journey. Each round next to it loses them 5 points, one section back 1 point, the next section gains them 1 point, the next section back 3 points, finally walking outside the light gains one 5 points per round. Before this trial there is a slate with the rankings of those who have come before.
