Eloren

A prosperous elven oasis built on the edge of Miracle Lake. It's thick stone wall has a permanent breach on one side left as a reminder to would be rebellions that they are and forever will be a part of the Tamarin Empire. The city is an unfriendly place for those not of elven blood.

History

Eloren has long been at war with the Tamarin Empire, and was conquered many times by Sephocles. Each time it rose up and overthrew the installed government nearly as soon as the Royal Army was out of sight. King Therocles has seemingly managed to quell the proud city once and for all, becoming its religious ruler under their new Church of Light and taking Prince Arandel son of the ruling House Thistlebend as his permanent "guest" in Alochrin.

The buildings of the city although mostly stone and cut wood are fashioned to look like trees, a nod to their homeland Ethlandir.
