Children Races

The Children races, also known as the Children of God, so named because of the core Filian belief that the Children of God named in the Books of Valeryn were not merely elves but all races. The designation includes all those races universally accepted to be the descendants of the Sempercreational races which changed under the Rule of Death as they went into exile in the Material Realm, as well as hybrids of those races and those subject to a curse or supernatural ancestry, such as aasimar and tieflings. Dragonborn and metallic dragons are also considered to be part of the Children, although their sempercreational ancestry remains unknown.
Some consider all the races of the Material Realm to be children races, but this is a controversial and in some eyes heretical proposition.
