The Pupil

When the man fell down, a dagger in his stomach, the turban dismantled and revealed the silver figure of an Eye on his forehead. An eye-marked, thought Galvan, I killed a member of the Eye's Pupil!   Galvan didn't know what consequences that deed would have, but he was sure that none of them could be good.
The Silver Eye: Blindness

Requirements

The Pupil decides when a person is raised to their level. Usually the person is someone who stands out in the Iris, but given the very discreet nature of the Pupil, it's not clear if that is the only way to earn the rank.

Appointment

The ceremony consist of two or more Pupil members gathering into a specific location along with the new member. Other testimonies can be present if their presence is permitted.   The new member's Iris Ring must be handed out to one of the current members. The Eye's symbol is then marked with a silver dye, in a place of choice, on the new member's skin; that symbolizes that the interest of the new member is not material anymore, but that the Eye now is part of his own being.   Finished the mark, the new member is given an uniform with secret indications that the owner is a member is an Eye Marked.

Responsibilities

A Pupil member is mainly responsible for managing Iris members in a specific area, according to the Eye's intentions. The member is given the power to change the role of any member under his jurisdiction, usually raising Whites to the Iris or to the Lids. It's also their duty to punish or reward low-ranked members in the proper time and inform their men about the Pupil's decisions when necessary.   There is a great level of freedom in their actions, but major operations may require the agreement of the Pupil as a whole. The member is also supposed to attend the meetings and give their opinion regarding the Eye's current situation, changes in rules, a specific member or plans to the future of the organization.   In large-scale combat, the Pupils are supposed to plan strategies, be it with other Pupil members or with their subordinates, and allow or forbid certain operations. In despite of this usually high-level operation, the Pupil member is supposed to keep very sharp skills in combat, preferably being able to outplay any of their men. The member is also responsible for assuring the lower-ranked members training and good performance in combat, whether physically or mentally.

Benefits

A member of the Pupil doesn't have any monetary difficulty. In fact, their access to the Eye's money is enough to build towers, walls and even entire forts.   The rank also grants a position of great power, since a member of the Pupil has members of the Iris under his direct command. Since the organization acts in many sectors of the society, the Pupil member may also have political power over many places, depending on the Eye's influence in that location.

I would throw in a little summary of the organization and what they are and such along with a link to that article if it's made or when u make it lol. Also, quote box will make that opener stand out. Idk if you've forgotten yet so u may be planning. All in all i still enjoyed it.

It may pass without getting attention, but in the end of the article you can see a link to the organization, The Silver Eye.   But yeah, I'm with you! Specially about the quote. I wrote this during Summer Camp, just a few days after landing here, and I was not aware of many of the features. I'll correct it as soon as I can, but the right thing to do is separating some time to fix all these old articles.   Thanks for the comment and for remembering me about that!
