Plane-Touched

There are those born with the mark of the planes outside the material. They exhibit qualities of both their outsider and material plane lineage. Often, the result of some dark bargain, familial devout service, or conception during planar convergence. These anomalies can occur within any family and race on the material plane, known as the plane-touched. Plane-touched are very rare but occur most commonly among humans. The plane-touched results from the influence of any plane but most commonly are influenced by the celestial, fiendish, or elemental planes. Plane-touched exhibit many features of their material plane parents but with a few key differences depending on the outside plane by which their lineage is influenced. The most common types of plane touched are the Aasmar, marked by the celestial realms; Tieflings, influenced by the lower planes; and Genasi, which carry the elemental planes' spark. There also exist those affected by the other planes, and though even less occurring, they are:

• Faerine-- Decend from the "good" fae realms of dreams
• Gloamling--Like the Faerine except descend from the nightmarish shadow fae.
• Shyft--Descendants from the ethereal realms
