After the devastating solar war, the new FTS began to rapidly assimilate the nations and outlying colonies of the solar system through diplomacy and force. This process was long, tumultuous, and the scars of the war are still present throughout most of the system. However, it will be under the rule of the Federation that humanity will see its first interplanetary golden age: the Era of Expansion.
