Personal history
Renard trained to be a knight at a young age. Proficiency in the art of war granted access to higher rankings, until he was promoted to join the Common Guard of Anglon. His lightning fast speed with a longsword was unrivalled in Ricusa, to the point where the locals called him "Swiftcut Renard". He was positioned at the front gate of Ricusa City with an apprentice Common Guard, Perrin Silvermark, who became his acquaintance.
At the age of 90 (60 Earth years), he was kidnapped by Reyner Coldtrap and sent to Toshaw Hollow, a cavern connected to Ricusa Mine. He would stay there until Reyner sent Cassy Silvermark - a guard - into the room too. He and Reyner had a dance of blades but his strokes merely dented his opponent's armour. Reyner blasted Shadowflame into his face and sliced at his chest fatally. Reyner planned to just have him bleed out, but decided the purple marks of Shadowflame on his face were a problem, and so cut his head off.
