Personal history

Diaz was born in Clearwater and raised by pirates on sea. His father and mother was killed when Kingdom of Alteria attacked Clearwater and failed. Orphaned, Diaz roamed the streets of Clearwater until a Sea Elf named Abas found Diaz and took him to his ship to made him swab the deck. Diaz rose to the ranks within the pirate band until he became Abas' right hand man. As Diaz sailed the seas, he heard the many tales of a female pirate worshiped by the tempest clerics and other people of the seas. Her name was Fortuna . The more he learned about this goddess, the stronger the love for her grew within him. Many years later, Abas and his crew were caught by the Alterian navy. Abas, in exchange for his own freedom, decided to hand over the crew and his ship. Betrayed by his captain, Diaz lashed out and thrust his rapier towards Abas' face and skewered his left eye. As the Alterian mariners were about to apprehend both Abas and Diaz, Diaz quickly jumped off the ship and swam deep into the sea to escape. After 4 day at sea, Diaz returned to Clearwater to begin a new life. He swore to one day woo the lady Fortuna and kill Abas for his betrayal. Diaz began working for different mercenary companies to save money and buy a ship one day and look for his love at sea. Diaz later began working with Rishkar's Irregulars where he met Bosh the Soul Forged . After many missions together, Bosh became one of the few people Diaz trusts.
Together with Bosh, Ka'uhane , and Knuckles McGruff, Diaz found the lost treasure of Rivenlock. As a reward He and Bosh set out for the Silent Isle where they made their new base of operations.
He set out with Bosh to take part in the The Sozarian Rebellion however when they were passing through Highmark Diaz was killed by a stray arrow from his ally Ulysses Turlock. Fortuna saw what he had done in life and took his soul to be with her on the Path of the Tempest.
During the events of The End of an Era Bosh and company reunited with Diaz while traveling the different paths. Diaz joined them in defeating the undead god Glaurun and ending the Soul Blight.
