Idite, The Knower and Discoverer
The Wandering Sage Idite (a.k.a. The Blue Mage)
Patron God of The Warforged, Gnomes, Scholars, and Wizards.
Patron God of Schools, Colleges, Academies, Craftsmen, Forges, and the Arcane.
In lore, Idite is the second son of Laetien and Hylina, who formed between the two when the first question was asked by Hylina, and the answer given was Idite. Whom was sucked out of Laetien and given the natural curiosity worthy of how he was spoken into existence.
Even in the modern-day, most gnomish societies and cultural groups regard Idite as their creator, and as such revere him as a patron. The Goblins too in their own way worship Idite, but more often are so chaotic that it barely resembles what the god requires.

Social History
Idite is thought to have spread from ancient seafaring civilizations from archaeological evidence, was the first to circumnavigate the continent. There is evidence of pre-historic worship of this deity in the proto-gnomish language and culture, as well as in goblin, and dwarven pre-histories. There is little evidence of Elven worship, although the focus on innovation and discovery has also made Idite routinely popular throughout the cultural history of the Humans.Even in the modern-day, most gnomish societies and cultural groups regard Idite as their creator, and as such revere him as a patron. Tenets of Faith
To be of Idite is to be a mere traveller in the seas of knowledge and discovery. The followers of Idite tend to not hold evidence for the ideas of inherited class structure endemic to the order of the world, believing that all mortals are blank slates, once given the understanding of how to change their circumstances, that everyone could become anything.

Tinkerer's March, the Ides of Gears, the day of all-seeing
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Idite's driving goal is progress at all costs. It was he that inspired the city, which in turn inspired city-states, then empires. He developed the first instruments for the mortals, but also the first weapons that they raised against each other. In his eyes, all progress is good progress, no matter the cost.
Physical Description
Body Features
The primary guise of Idite is in the form of a gnome with a mercurial personality. The gnome always has a blue tint to his white hair, large goggles, and a blue cloak with a single drop of water buckling the cloak over his clavical.

Morality & Philosophy
Those who know can do is a summation of Idite's philosophy and outlook, especially in the context of his followers and expectations of them. Idite believes that no one is subjected to predetermination or destiny, and that all creatures have the ability to grow outside of their circumstances and improve.
Taboos
The followers of Idite have a strong sense of individuality, and personal agency, but they also have limits. Idite and Libris conflict over the power of forethought and careful planning, in contrast of the passion and unbridaled Id expressed by Libris and his facies. Adon has many traits that followers of Idite are appreciative of, but the emphasis on equality and unity contrast with Idites views of the personal exceptionalism of all mortals. Ikhor and Idite share a libertarian view on how people should act, but the lack of love of discovery as opposed to just a pursuit of power goes against Idite's better nature. The largest taboo rivalry among the siblings is that between Idite and Tybor. Both believe in change and growth, but Tybor looks down his nose at Idites creations, thinking that the world is perfect as it is and that mortals need to stay in their lanes as far as how their lot in life plays out.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
The motivation of Idite is a simple one, "To Answer". He seeks the answer to all questions and wants to be the repository of all knowledge and to achieve omniscience.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Idite is a logical god, but lacks a certain level of empathy and comes off as distant and cold.
Likes & Dislikes
To curry favor with Idite, the followers are always sharing information with the god that is new to them, in the hopes that they'll have something unknown to Idite and draw his appreciation and notice.
Idite cannot stand to be subject to someone's willful ignorance. Nothing is sacred to Idite, because all must change as knowledge grows.
