She is the other of Laetien, who with her bore Adon, The Giver of Law and Light , Idite, The Knower and Discoverer , Ikhor, The Limitless and Inevitable , Libris, The Bloodied and Free and Tybor, The Wild and Immutable.
She in addition to the mistress of life in nature and the cosmos, is the mistress of death and dying, of both plant, animal, and mortal in the universe.

Hylina is the mistress of darkness, the queen of the void, and the personification of the chaotic universe before the presence of order and life. From the chaos that Hylina is the queen of, Laetien was born, an avatar of life and order. The yin to the yang, and together they laid in perpetuity, because they were all there was.
