Author's Honey is harvested from wasps pollinating roses - which sounds impossible, and as such will surprise few if any once learning that this is an export from Hell.
The reason for its peculiar name is that your body writes down everything that is happening in your dreams in excruciating detail, writing quicker than a mortal could ever dare to dream.
What makes it even more tantalizing for aspiring authors is that just like a real dream, the dream they visit can be wholly shaped by their thoughts alone if they only know how to focus them.
As such, it has swiftly been outlawed by all major institutions, yet it is still far from impossible to acquire it if one only knows the right devil or smuggler.
Effects
It looks like conventional honey, just with brighter colours, and also tastes quite similar, just that even when consuming minuscule amounts, one is transported rather forcefully into a wild and unbent dreamscape. The Honey is far from safe - and not just because one can easily die within such a dream: it is impossible to control what writing utensils are used by your body while your mind is occupied within a dream.
