Maroksi

(a.k.a. Grass)


Maroksi is an aspect of Fliral and a physical aspect. It revolves around grasslands and the various plant life that has evolved to populate them. However, any flowers, herbs and fruit produced by these plants fall under Lithyr, like all others. Grasslands have one of the closest relationships to Lithyr a frequent home to various herbs and wildflowers. Grass, heather, sedge, rush, legumes, bushes and more solitary trees have evolved for these environments and there are many different kinds of grasslands. These include prairies, pampas, steppes, savannahs, meadows, sedge swamps, flooded grasslands, water-meadows, tundra grasslands, steppe-tundra, shrublands, flushes or even desert grasslands. Their counterpart is Riptalis, many reptiles calling these biomes home as prevalent predators, especially the dryer ones.

Racial Manifestations



When Fliral gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.

Manifestations

Manipulation
Able to manipulate, alter or enhance the growth of grassland plants that are present or nearby.

Aura
Able to summon or generate a kind of grassland plant temporarily.

Movement
Able to walk, step or move on or through grasslands plants unimpeded or even blend into them.

Eye
Able to see various grassland plants present around them, able to differentiate and identify them.

Sense
Able to sense various grassland plants around them despite barriers and can both differentiate and identify them.

Skin
Able to convert their skin into or generate materials of a grassland plant from their skin such as grass, leaves, twigs, needles, spines, etc.

Charge
Can absorb moisture, energy or nutrients present in organic material (including still living organic material) via touch and store them inside their bodies. They can convert this to magic energy, transfer the energy to a target or re-release it like an aura.

Fertility
Able to increase the fertility of a grassland plant and aid in the healthy gestation and growth of the plant.

Will
Can produce a grassland plant which will amplify the magic of others upon contact or extend this effect into a grassland plant already present.

Shield
Immune to negative effects and/or damage from all grassland magic.

Vision
Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Maroksi's Plane. Can see through the eyes of any bug using their corresponding 'shadows' in the plane.

Step
Can enter and exit Maroksi's Plane via portals and travel the plane freely, without injury. Can bring another with them while maintaining contact.

Form
Their magic form has features of a specific grassland plant incorporated into it. They will be able to manifest certain characteristics of this plant.

Body
The caster bonds to a grassland plant when they are born and their lives are permanently connected, both taking on the longer life span between them. They can share attributes, racial magics and energy but if one dies, so does the other.
