Ithgalem

(a.k.a. Aquatic (Plants))


Ithgalem is an aspect of Fliral and a physical aspect. It revolves around aquatic biomes and the various plant life that has evolved to populate them. However, any flowers, herbs and fruit produced by these plants fall under Lithyr, like all others. This includes freshwater, saltwater and brackish environments. There are a number of species that fall under Zuvaath or Malrot rather than Ithgalem, such as sponges or coral. Their counterpart is Lishil, the fauna equivalent which calls aquatic landscapes home.

Racial Manifestations



When Fliral gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.

Manifestations

Manipulation
Able to manipulate, alter or enhance the growth of aquatic plants that are present or nearby.

Aura
Able to summon or generate a kind of aquatic plant temporarily.

Movement
Able to move on or through aquatic plants unimpeded.

Eye
Able to see various aquatic plants present around them, able to differentiate and identify them.

Sense
Able to sense various aquatic plants around them despite barriers and can both differentiate and identify them.

Skin
Able to convert their skin into or generate materials of an aquatic plant from their skin.

Touch
Able to alter the quality of water via touch, such as nitrates, ammonia, oxygen, nitrites, PH, salinity, etc. Can also be used to filter water for consumption. They can store nutrients or any of these materials in their body for use or transfer them into another body of water.

Fertility
Able to increase the fertility of an aquatic plant and aid in the healthy gestation and growth of the plant.

Will
Can produce an aquatic plant which will amplify the magic of others upon contact or extend this effect into a aquatic plant already present.

Shield
Immune to negative effects and/or damage from all aquatic plant magic.

Vision
Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Ithgalem's Plane.

Step
Can enter and exit Ithgalem's Plane via portals and travel the plane freely, without injury. Can bring another with them while maintaining contact.

Form
Their magic form has features of a specific aquatic plant incorporated into it. They will be able to manifest certain characteristics of this plant.

Body
The caster bonds to an aquatic plant when they are born and their lives are connected, both taking on the longer life span between them. They can share attributes, racial magics and energy but if one dies, so does the other.
