Huangbei Gaoyuan

This plateau rolls out from the massive mountain range to the north, Kunlun Shan. Dry with thin soil and harsh winds, this plateau isn't suited to farming. Loess comprises most of the soil here and these lands are occasionall used as pasture. Great dust storms plague Huangbei Gaoyuan, the result of strong winds and loose loess.
