House Bloodfang

Created in 1026 CA, by House of Aquilar, House Bloodfang is the newest noble house in Belkar. This noble house is made up of primarily Hobgoblins, something many thought was impossible. Before being incorporated into the noble class, hobgoblin tribes of Belkar wandered throughout the Boars back mountains, killing raiding and pillaging anything they could find. This legacy of raiding lives on in continued animosity from House Emberforge , who suffered the bulk of the fighting. Even today Emberforge does not recognize Bloodfang as real nobles.

In 1017 House Aquilar fought a series of large skirmishes against a collection of Hobgoblin tribes, defeating them. Rather than extermination Aquilar opted to support more civilized tribes in rule, and over a 90 years the culture of the hobgoblin culture changed enough for the Sultan to offer them a place in the nobility.

Granted land in the eastern edge of the boars back mountains, the new nobles settled in an abandon dwarf ruin, rebuilding it and turning it into Ironfang Keep . The keep stands at the end of a valley, protecting the beyond.

Much to the surprise of other nobbles, civilized life was largely accepted by the hobgoblins, and the first merchants to visit Ironfang keep made handsome fortunes selling Weistmiester sausage and jerky

The current head of House Bloodfang is Otto Von Bloodfang, who was the son of the first ever head of house. Copying the style of other noble houses, Otto created a personal bodyguard of his most savage hobgoblin fighters, known at the Forlorn Hope.
