The Feywild
The Feywild. Home to the fey courts great and small and the source of all the material plane's Wild Magic.
The king and queen of the Feywild are the famous (or perhaps infamous) Oberon and Titania. Oberon is the lord of winter and Titania is the Summer-Queen. They also go by other names or titles, depending on which region of Elyria they are being referenced in. However, one thing is certain, the Winter Lord and Summer-Queen are eternal, immortal beings and the absolute rulers of the Fey.
The Feywild itself is a slightly maddening realm, full of magic and mischief too odd for most mortals to comprehend. Other nicknames for this plane are The Bewitching Realm, The Otherworld, or simply, The Fey-lands.
The plane of the Feywild is constantly shifting and changing, being of all seasons all at once, and being built of wild magic. There are certain 'lands' which are considered by fey scholars as anchors within the realm itself, though they aren't exactly lands in the geographical sense. They can be more accurately as realms or domains, each ruled by a court. All fey creatures can trace their lineage to this plane, and almost all fey are ruled one of the many courts.
