The Harpy Coast
This is the stretch of coast from Grayhaven to Kraken Bay. It is named not because of its majestic mountains and cliffs, not for the way the wind whistles through the peaks and crags, but for the terrible harpies that infest those majestic cliffs. Sailors tend to take a wider route farther out to sea to avoid these creatures. They like to befuddle crews with their singing and let the ships be dashed to pieces upon the rocks. Then they feast on the poor unfortunate sailors as they drown in the surf. There is also talk of a ghost ship that haunts the waters of the Harpy Coast. Cursed, the ship is forced to sail the seas in search of the souls of sailors.
