Justice Corneil Vonsworth

Sir Corneil Vonsworth was a Cornflower Burrow justice who participated in several high-ranking court cases during his career as a judge from 1105 to 1123. He famously tutored Sir Steward Craltfar before swearing him into service on the eve of 1120 as part of the Cornflower Lower-Courts Judiciary. During his career as a judge, he remained staunchly loyal to the conservative party of the Guild of Retainence, even after his close friend, Steward Craltfar, formed his own political party in the wake of the Correl v. Jun v. Cornflower investigation.

Early Life

Not much is known about Vonsworth's early life except that he was born in Eastend and studied law locally at Thornstead University with a prestigious degree in political sciences and judiciary study. After he graduated in 1101 he was hired as a clerk to work for a local, noble-owned, accounting firm on the topside settlement of Roriksville where he gained experience for several years while studying to pass the bar exams to enroll as a judge in 1104.

Judicial Career

In 1105, Vonsworth was sworn into service of the Cornflower Lower-Courts Judiciary as a lower-courts justice. During the initial stages of his career, he served on the Local Judicial Committee of Neltsview up until 1114. In 1119 Vonsworth tutored one Steward Craltfar of Eastend to become a judge, and after passing the bar exams in 1120, swore Craltfar into service as a justice. After years of service, Vonsworht retired at the age of 38 in 1123.

Death

On Korr 23rd, Reem of 1126, Vonsworth passed away from liver failure in his sleep, his body was found in his bed by his extended family living with him at the time. A few weeks later his body was laid to rest in the Eastend crypt.
