Tamas ot'Latu has a scar in the form of three clawmarks that cross over his right eye, starting above his eyebrow and ending below the cheekbone. He was fortunate that the strike missed his eyeball. It happened so long ago that he mostly forgets it exists.
Tamas has angular facial tatoos on his forehead extending down to the bridge of his nose and on his cheeks. They are a walnut brown color, close to the shade of his hair. They commemorate the early autumn in which he proved his competence as a hunter, from crafting and seasoning his yumi to cleaning the carcass of his prey with the cleaver crafted for him by Kimeta Sulini ot’Falagi and returning it to the jupeta's clanhouse.
If asked about his three gemstone eyebrow rings, Tamas may brush off the topic as merely personal adornment. Or he might hint at the deed which earned him the name "Longarrow". He will not give a direct answer: anyone who deserves the full truth of his gemstones, already knows it.
