The Draconic Aura

Many scholars have proposed that Dragon-kind possess a kind of latent energy as a means of explaining why Kobolds and other creatures seem attracted to their lairs, even centuries after the dragons themselves had been vanquished.

Manifestation

Rarely actually seen itself, the invisible energies do become more obvious and visible when magic is used in its presence, appearing as luminescent flows in the air.
There exists a kind of flower- referred to as the Dragonbloom Trillium- that often crops up around fallen dragons, and there is a not-insignificant portion of Magisters that believe these flowers to be another form of Draconic Aura manifestations, given how the flowers grow even in low light conditions, and they don't appear to have any means of propagation that had ever been observed.
