Sükásnra

The Sükásnra is a smaller recon spaceship that can fly in atmosphere and in space. The wings for atmosphere extend from the side compartments near front and back of ship.
The cockpit holds 2 crew, passenger seating holds up to 10. There is a small side area for making food, a bathroom facility, and a cargo bay at the back of the ship. It was designed for recon missions into unknown regions of space, but often is used to travel between different cities ferrying tech equipment and scientists for various scientific expeditions.

Power Generation

Uses a compact reactor fueled by biofuels. It also has stored solar panels that can unfurl in space, which are stored in the center centrifuge just behind the wing storage compartments.

Propulsion

Ion propulsion used in space. The wings unfurl in atmosphere for stability and cruising.

Weapons & Armament

Very little weaponry exists on most models, though most are equipped with at least a laser cannon to clear debris or defend against piracy.

Armor and defense

Armor thick and made to withstand the radiation of solar flares. Windows are transparent and use woven glass that can withstand the radiation of a solar flare.

Additional & auxiliary systems

All designs come outfitted with life control systems that activate once in space. Air filtration systems clean the air and stay on even in atmospheric conditions. Thrusters located near the engines can be oriented to help with stability when docking.
Central cockpit dome can extend into passenger area for optimal exterior views, though the passenger section is often covered by armor during spaceflight. Side windows will open instead for spaceflight.
