Universal Positioning System (Usei'sinov ponesiru Sajăruoqani)
A system of satellites that can pinpoint one's latitude and longitude to an extremely high accuracy. Often used to help individuals navigate.
Utility
It is used for navigation.
Manufacturing
Individual satellites are grown in vats and then shipped to space, where the parts are assembled and sealed in micro-gravity of low-earth geo-stationary orbits. They are then placed in their geostationary orbit with thrusters, which only turn on when the need to adjust for drift to recalibrate the system is needed. The satellites often last a good decade before they either need replacement or repairs, unless space debris from comets or failed satellites collide or puncture its solar wings, then it may need a back-up shipped to space to replace it.
