Every race and culture has representation in Easthaven, but Dwarves and Humans definitely outnumber everyone else.

Government

Easthaven is a mix of a Democratic and Capitalistic style of rule.

Districts

Easthaven is comprised of a port, Guilds, taverns and a festival ground.

History

Easthaven was just a small port town in the mid 1300's. After Rath Silveraxe took over the Easthaven Adventurers Guild, the port began to grow and by 1375, the port was a huge and busy place.

Tourism

The town also became a huge tourism destination when the Easthaven's Festival Grounds were built.

Battle of the Bards

One of the first events to be established at this venue. It actually started at Inn of the Wyvern, but soon out grew in popularity. It's first show was between:
  • The Mistle Tones- an all elf group that sings seasonal festival music
  • The Deci Belles- an all female gnome group
  • Van Scalen- showcased the first Dragonborn known in the area
  • The Fey Fighters- an all drow group, the first to be seen above ground
  • Nine Foot Flails
  • Crossbows & Pansies
It was a great show, but the crowd favorite was Van Scalen. Lead singer Digby Scree Root was very energetic and the ladies loved him, but the younger crowd really enjoyed the way the lead lute player, Shreddie Van Scalen took control of the lute and keyboard solo's for their new number, "Thump".

Fight Club

Once a month, the Fighters Guild holds a "No Holds Barred" fighting event. All fighters in the guild are required to attend each event, but it is also open to anyone that feels the need to blow off a little steam. The cost to enter the event is 25g for members and 100g for non members and the prize is half the pot. This can sometimes bring in warriors from all over the known kingdoms of all different skill levels.   One year, a 17yr old dwarven girl won the prize of 145,000gp. She was up against some very tough fighters from the guild. After her ceremony, the Guild Master of the Fighters Guild offered her a lifetime, paid membership to the guild. She declined and went on to be one of the founders of Sisters of the Anvil.
